Origami Art!

We have been learning how to make origami in art with our student teacher Miss Rowland. Origami means paper folding in Japanese.

This week we made cups and lanterns.
It takes a lot of patience to fold the paper just right. But it is a lot of fun. After, we all decorate our origami!

Next, we will be making new shapes and trying new types of paper! Can't wait to share our work!

  1. Hi, it's Kody And Angus here from Hornby Primary. We really like the color of your origami. We have also made Origami and it was made into a boat for funday. How hard was it to make the origami? Did you enjoy your origami with the teacher.

  2. Hi Gilberthorpe school. This is Lydia and Tiana from Hornby Primary, Room 7 here. They look like some really cool origami's. This would be fun to make. We made something like this but they were boats. Next time you could tell us how you made them. Did you have fun making origami's? How many did you make? Did you make more than one?
